ATLANTA, Ga. -
One person is dead and four injured in an early morning shooting in the Sweet Auburn neighborhood.
The deceased victim has been identified as Selemon Belai, 27, no other names have been released, at this time.
It happened on Bell Street, just off Auburn Avenue around 5 a.m. Tuesday morning. Police say the shooting stemmed from an argument over gambling.
According to Atlanta Police, two of the wounded people are in surgery at Grady, one is confirmed dead and there is nothing confirmed on the remaining two victims. All victims were on foot at the time of the incident.
Authorities located this scene after an officer was flagged down by one of the victim's while conducting his routine patrol.
