BURNSVILLE, Minn. (KMSP) - A gorgeous peacock strutted its stuff to the delight of Burnsville, Minn. photographer Joey Pederson and her camera.

PHOTOS: Peacock dazzles in Burnsville

While sitting on her computer, Pederson caught a glimpse of what she thought was a turkey walking past her window when she discovered it was a beautiful peacock. Pederson said a cat ruffled the peacock's feathers as it retreated to a nearby deck, then onto the roof.

The peacock proved to be a willing model, however, and allowed Pederson to photograph it for nearly 30 minutes. While the cat was not a welcomed acquaintance, the peacock didn't seem to mind neighborhood kids or Pederson's camera.
