Crews were called to the scene after 8:40 p.m. Friday.  A first alarm response was requested so there were different crews that could rotate in and out of fighting the fire.

The homeowner tells Fox 10 many of the dogs were inside the barn.  At least five dogs died in the fire, another five were found safe, and at least five additional dogs remain mission.

A total of 65 firefighters helped put out the flames.  Fire investigators are on the scene of the fire Saturday morning looking into the cause of the blaze.
