ATLANTA -

Some Midtown Atlanta residents were without power for hours early Tuesday morning due to a fallen tree.

It happened near the intersection of Juniper Street and 11th Street on Monday afternoon.

The fallen tree damaged a car and destroyed a power pole but did not injure anyone.

Crews worked through the night to clear the tree from the roadway.

According to Georgia Power Company, the power outage affected 335 customers.

Workers restored power just before 7 a.m. Tuesday morning.

It is unclear what caused the tree to fall.
