PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Reddit is known for many things, from interesting articles, ask an expert anything, and a sub-reddit called "PICS."

Nathan Steffel  posted a photo of his daughter Sophia and asked a request from graphics artists. "Photoshop Request: My daughter recently passed away after a long battle in the children's hospital. Since she was in the hospital her whole life we never were able to get a photo without all her tubes. Can someone remove the tubes from this photo?".

According to Steffel07, Nathan Steffel's username on Reddit, Sophia was born in Columbus, Ohio and had a hepatic hemangioma in her liver. She was on the waiting list for a liver transplant when she passed away due to complications. She was only six-weeks-old.

Several Redditors worked their magic and produced several edits showing Sophia as if she no longer had the tubes. He received thousands of replies, and numerous images edited to show Sophia without any of the medical tubes.

Steffel posted this message to the most popular of the replies: "Wow that is awesome. I showed my wife, and she teared up. Thank you so very much."

We've included a photo of baby Sophia as originally posted and a few of the edited photos in the slideshow at the top of the story.
