ECORSE, Mich. (WJBK) -

Investigators are still putting together pieces to the circumstances of Hayley Turner's disappearance Friday night.

There is no description yet of a vehicle or suspect released by police.

The fact she was found alive, allowed for a happy ending.

"This is huge, I have daughters myself, to see the look on her face was gratifying," said Ecorse police officer Darren Johnson.

Johnson responded to the 911 call that led Ecorse cops to Hayley Turner, 18 who had gone missing Thursday night..

The caller told dispatchers she spotted Hayley Turner near 19th and Salliotte in Ecorse at about 3:30 Friday - and that Turner had been abducted and escaped by jumping out of a moving car.

"A dispatch call in regards to someone observing someone walking down the street without a shirt on," Johnson said. "Upon arrival we came into contact with the person who helped her. From that point we went on with our standard operating procedure."

Turner  went missing Thursday night.

She was last seen at a family video store and was on the phone with a friend when she was allegedly abducted Thursday night.

Earlier on Friday, her mother, Christy Turner said,  "If you can hear me please call us please call anybody we just want you safely home."
Authorities took Turner to Henry Ford Hospital in Wyandotte for an evaluation after she was found Friday afternoon.

Ecorse Police say she had some minor injuries, but declined to say if she was assaulted during the time she was missing.

Investigators have not released a description of the suspect or vehicle Turner was allegedly in.

It's unclear what exactly happened from when she went missing and when she was found.

At the time of her disappearance, Turner was on her way home from the Family Video store near Dean Road and Lewis Avenue when she called her friend around 10:08 p.m. While she was on the phone, she told her friend she saw a man lying in the ditch and that she was going to check on him.

Malone says Turner told her friend seconds later that the man had a gun and the phone call disconnected.

The friend immediately called Turner's father, who drove to the scene within minutes. He found Turner's vehicle idling near the area of Dean Road and Crabb Road. Turner was nowhere to be found.
