City of Phoenix seeking input on transportation

Posted: Updated:
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - The City of Phoenix is asking for the public's input on city transportation.

A committee appointed by the Phoenix City Council will work with the public on future service routes for the bus and light rail, improvement for streets and roads, and funding for those improvements.

"So that we can really hear from the communities what they want, and where they'd like the system to go next, and so we can put together a plan that will help the mayor and the council advance that," said Mary Peters.

A website has been setup for the public to give input on the future plans, visit www.talktransportation.org for more information.
