CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

As the body of the Chicago woman killed in Bali returns to the United States, a published report reveals new information about the people involved in the murder.

The body of Sheila von Wiese-Mack was found inside a suitcase in the trunk of a taxi in front of an upscale hotel last week. The woman's daughter, Heather Mack, and her daughter's boyfriend, Tommy Schaefer, have been accused of the murder.

According to Reuters, Heather Mack and Tommy Schaefer were placed on suicide watch while being held in connection to the murder. Officials say the couple has been depressed and their mental health is being checked everyday.

FOX 32 News has learned von Wiese-Mack got more than $840,000 in a cruise line settlement three years ago. Von Wiese-Mack  received $340,000 immediately and then got another $500,000 that went towards her late husband's estate.

The victim's body was flown back to Chicago via a Korean Airliner Tuesday.
