DETROIT (WJBK) - One person has been killed in a quadruple shooting on Detroit's east side, according to Detroit police.

Police say the 18-year-old victim, Aundrea Garland, was at the house in the 16,600 block of Edmore Street around 11 p.m. Wednesday when someone pulled up and started shooting.

Three other people on the front porch were also shot. One of those people is in critical condition. The condition of the other two victims is unknown at this time. Police say all the victims are between the ages of 18 and 20 years old.

Detroit Police Sgt. Michael Woody says authorities are looking for a 1999 red Saturn vehicle occupied by four males. Police believe the front-seat passenger rolled down the window and opened fire with an AK-47.

Garland was shot in the thigh and was able to talk to police when they arrived on scene. Police say she told them she did not know or recognize the men.

The driver is described as having a dark complexion, a short haircut, chubby cheeks and being clean shaven. Police sources tell Fox 2 three witnesses say the red Saturn has a very loud muffler.

Around 9:30 a.m. Thursday police found a burned-out red Saturn just a few miles from the shooting. They are investigating if the two are connected. Police also say the investigation is still in its early stages, but they have not yet ruled out a connection between the shooting at Eastland Mall earlier on Wednesday.

If you know anything you're asked to call the Detroit Police Homicide department or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
