WAUKEGAN, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A north suburban man was arrested last week after he sold heroin to an undercover detective in Waukegan.

Clifton D. Johnson, 21, of the 100 Block of South Genesee Street in Waukegan, was arrested and charged Aug. 27 with two counts of unlawful delivery of heroin, two counts of unlawful possession of heroin and resisting a police officer, according to a statement from the Lake County Sheriff's office.

Police said an undercover detective purchased heroin from Johnson, a member of the Four Corner Hustlers gang. The arrest came after a month-long investigation from the Lake County Sheriff's office.

Johnson is being held on $200,000 bond and is next scheduled to appear in court Sept. 15, the Lake County Sheriff's office said.
