Police: Body found near Phoenix high school

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police say the body of a man was found near a Phoenix high school on Tuesday.

According to Sgt. Tommy Thompson with Phoenix police, the body of 33-year-old Robert George Garcia was found near Cesar Chavez High School in a church yard near 41st Avenue and Baseline Road.

Police say they are investigating the death as a homicide.
