Chaimara Shanae Washington and her ex-boyfriend, Brandon Cooper, were arrested on alleged felony child abuse charges. Washington's eight-year-old daughter is fighting for her life in the hospital as of Sept. 21. Read more.

Robert BonAuito was arrested after deputies say he burglarized a vehicle and led them on a chase that ended when a K9 dove into the water after him. Read more.

Josiah Johnson, 18, was arrested after he allegedly tried to rob a cab driver at gunpoint before getting shot by his own firearm, investigators said. Read more.

Phoenix police say 57-year-old Joseph Concialdi was arrested in connection to the disappearance and death of his wife, Julie Concialdi. Read more. 

Georgia soldier, Sergeant Jesse Phillips, is accused of stealing more than a dozen explosive devices from an Army training facility. During the search, investigators say they found 15 explosive devices, including Army-issued smoke grenades, four blasting fuses, rifles, and various drugs. Read more.

56-year-old Timothy Williams of Melbourne, Florida was arrested for the rape and murder of a 14-year-old girl in 1984. Read more.

Christopher Butts, Daniel May, Jordan Holloway, Matthew Salley, and Ryan Kellerman are accused of luring a minor for sexual exploitation. They were arrested following “Operation Home Alone 2,” a months-long investigation to combat child sexual exploitation and child sex trafficking. Read more.

Luis Martin Pages, 29, turned himself in to police after he allegedly shot his mother to death following a series of arguments involving a car, orange juice, and an air conditioning remote control, according to reports. Read more.

Jimmy Vela, 31, has been charged with sexually assaulting his 12-year-old daughter after she ran away from home to be with him -- sparking a statewide Missing Child Alert. Read more.

Jeffrey Roholt, 59, is accused of trying to kidnap an infant in the self-checkout line inside a Flagstaff Bashas' grocery store. Roholt allegedly told police he believed the cart was his and attempted to leave the store. Read more.

Brienna Craig is facing first-degree murder charges for the death of an infant in her care, a Florida sheriff's office said. Read more.

Mikal Lee Smith, a former University of Arizona football player and son of ex-NFL coach Lovie Smith, was arrested and is accused of running a prostitution ring. Read more. 

Rima Abikaram, 50, was arrested on suspicion of elder abuse after she was caught on camera striking 91-year-old "Jane Doe" more than 150 times over a 4-day period while in her care. Read more.

James Vu, 24, was arrested after he allegedly hit another man in the head with a crowbar during a fight in the backyard of a Phoenix home. The victim died at the hospital. Read more.

Courtney Fritz Pandolfi, 40, was arrested in connection to a crash that killed a pregnant woman in California. The baby was born by emergency C-section and has been released from the hospital. Read more.
