Canyon Lake drowning victim identified
We're learning more about a drowning at Canyon Lake, northeast of the Valley. Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies identified the victim who drowned after falling off a paddleboard. It happened when monsoon storms hit the area on Aug. 22. The body of 26-year-old Gerardo Nava-Bedolla was found the next morning in an area about 75 feet deep.
