A Mississippi triple-murder suspect who was in eastern Arizona was shot and killed by a trooper on Monday. Police in Ridgeland, Mississippi say Ivory James Welch III killed three people, including his mother, on Mother's Day.

On day 22 of the Chad Daybell triple murder trial, romantic text messages between Chad and Lori Vallow were read in court. FBI agent Nicole Heidemann, a tactical specialist, took the stand to testify again on digital evidence recovered. “He kissed her deeply as their breathing slow. He held her tightly before they began another round of pleasurable bonding,” reads one of the texts from Chad to Lori. “That is pretty incredible,” followed by fire emojis.
