Phoenix Police: Man arrested in connection with late October murder

PHOENIX (KSAZ) -- Phoenix Police officials say an arrest has been made, in connection with the murder of 37-year-old Adelbert Yazzie.

According to a statement released by Sgt. Tommy Thompson Friday afternoon, 33-year-old Christopher Wambach-Fields was arrested and booked into the Maricopa County Jail on Thursday. Wambach-Field is accused of 1st Degree Murder, in connection with the death Yazzie.

Yazzie, according to a Phoenix Police statement released on October 31, was found shot on the 1400 block of W. Glenrosa on October 28. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
