Girl pulled from Tempe pool in critical condition

A young girl is in critical condition after police say she was found by her parents in a backyard swimming pool at a home near Rural and Warner Roads.

TEMPE, Ariz. - A 2-year-old girl has been taken to a hospital after being found in a Tempe swimming pool.

What we know:

Tempe Police say the girl's parents found her in the pool on Dec. 22 near Rural and Warner Roads.

The girl is in critical condition.

What we don't know:

It's unknown how the child accessed the pool.
