Death of Scottsdale woman remains unsolved

It's been five months since 31-year-old Allison Feldman was found dead in her Scottsdale home. Her killer is still on the loose. Her family has stayed on top of the investigation as more clues trickle in.

Harley Feldman is in town from Minnesota, he's met with Scottsdale detectives, and while they haven't identified any suspects in the case he thinks they're getting closer and closer to solving the mystery of what happened to his daughter.

The Feldmans remember their daughter, Allison; smiling, happy, and full of life. They never imagined months after her mysterious death they would still be waiting for answers.

"One of the states of recovering is understanding what happened, but we don't have that, so it's been difficult on us," said Harley Feldman.

Allison Feldman was found dead inside her Scottsdale home in February. Her body was found in a pool of blood, she was undressed, and had a bad head injury. Scottsdale Police recovered DNA evidence from the killer; they ran it through the system, but there is so far no match.

"Scottsdale PD has a lot of things they're investigating, they're making a lot of progress on this case, I can't talk about a lot of it, but there is a lot of progress being made," said Harley.

Right now he says detectives are following leads and hoping more tips will come in.

"The tips have been good, good tips, but not all of them have led in the right direction," said Harley.

The Feldmans are from Minnesota, and they've made several trips to Arizona in the wake of Allison's death. They're hopeful police will find out what happened to Allison and make an arrest. Until then all they can do is wait for that big break, that will lead to answers they've been waiting for.

"We're confident that the case will be solved," he said.
