KSAZ TV – News Editor

KSAZ TV – ELC Director
KSAZ FOX 10, Arizona’s best news station, is looking for a full-time ELC Director to operate Sony ELC automation, MV8000G video switcher and associated peripherals. Work with Producers to assemble show rundowns in I-News, camera blocking and talent placement, set lighting, props, audio support and strategy sessions and post show debriefing. Use iNews computer, ELC playlist viewer, Bitcentral playout, ISQ playout of Chyron Mosaic and Power Clips, Vinten Fusion camera control, Wheatstone audio console, and the Sony 8000 video switcher. Maintain manual "audio operator" and/or "Technical Director" skills in the event of catastrophic failure. Perform Shot Box function, use Cue folders, use Icon manager application to configure video levels and routing, control switcher macros, and trigger/effect/control robotic cameras. Floor direct as needed. Work professionally as part of a cohesive team within specific time constraints. May be required to prep programming and monitor master control on a relief basis. KSAZ TV – Building Maintenance Engineer
FOX 10 Phoenix is looking for an experienced Building Maintenance Engineer. Inspects building and grounds daily for cleanliness, safety, proper lighting, and proper operation of all building equipment including generator, HVAC, fire-protection, etc. Ensures compliance with all OSHA and state/county/city regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues and determine the appropriate course of action.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or repair services.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
- Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment and reorder as necessary.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective building operations.
- Track all permits and permit applications to ensure timely renewals and compliance.
- Supervises shipping and receiving, janitorial service, lawn service personnel.
- Acts as a liaison with HVAC and other service contractors on required service to the building facilities.
- Supervises and obtains cost estimates on building renovations or remodeling.
- Assists in building and grounds budget preparation and administration.
- Performs minor electrical, plumbing, lock, touch-up painting, carpentry, and other minor building repairs.
- Prepares and submits building expense requisitions to VP of Engineering.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial building maintenance, engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular working hours.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
