Rihanna's Beverly Hills home shot at while singer was inside

Rihanna's Beverly Hills home was reportedly shot at over the weekend.

According to a report from TMZ, someone fired "multiple rounds" towards the singer's home on Sunday, March 8. She was believed to be home when the shots were fired, TMZ said in its report.

The aforementioned TMZ report said a woman – believed to be possibly in her 30s – have since been taken into custody.

The suspected gunwoman was later identified by the Los Angeles Polcie Department as 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz from Orlando, Florida.

According to FOX 11's Christina Gonzalez on Monday, Rihanna and her children have since left the house.

UPDATE: Woman accused of shooting into Rihanna's home identified by LAPD, bail set above $10M

What we don't know:

It is unknown whether Rihanna's longtime partner A$AP Rocky and the couple's children were home at the time of the incident.

TMZ's report initially read it was unknown if Rihanna was home during the shots-fired incident, but later reported that she was, in fact, inside the residence when the woman allegedly opened fire.

There are no reports indicating anyone – including Rihanna – were hit by the bullets in the alleged shooting.

What they're saying:

FOX 11's Matthew Seedorff spoke with neighbors who claim they heard the gunshots.

"It was scary. I can’t imagine being in the house hearing the bullets hit and that sort of stuff," said Keith England, who lives nearby and heard the gunshots.

England said the shots came in quick succession.

"Bam, bam, bam, bam, bam — like probably 10 shots," he said.

Another neighbor, Isabel Thorne, said the sound went across the area.

"It was really loud, and everything echoes in this valley. You can hear everything," Thorne said. "A shot — it’s not something you expect."

England said the incident was surprising given the neighborhood.

"My first thought was, really?" he racalled. "Given the neighborhood, you don’t usually expect drive-by shootings in a place like this… but they’re everywhere now."
