PHOENIX - Arizona Task Force One is on Marco Island, Florida. The 80-member team, made up mostly of Phoenix Fire Department personnel, was deployed there to help following Hurricane Irma.
September 12 was day 19 for Arizona Task Force One, which left hurricane duty in Houston to go straight to Florida's Marco Island in the southwest part of the state. The part of the island is a tourist area with marinas, resort hotels and golf courses.
Task Force One was focused on an area of the island Tuesday where neighborhoods are, known as Goodland.
