Man accused in Arizona homicide arrested in Pennsylvania

PHOENIX (AP) -- Authorities say a man who fled Arizona after fatally shooting another man during a dispute has been arrested in Pennsylvania.

The U.S. Marshals Service says 30-year-old Anthony Marks was arrested Tuesday in the Philadelphia area.

Marks is accused of fatally shooting 31-year-old Richard Wren on Sept. 9 during an argument outside an apartment complex in north Phoenix.

Investigators say Wren confronted Marks about a recent burglary at his apartment, though there's no indication that Marks was involved in the burglary.

They say Wren shot pepper spray at Marks during the confrontation and that Marks then started to fire at Wren.

It's not known whether Marks has an attorney.

He was booked on suspicion of homicide and aggravated assault and awaits extradition to Arizona.
