Man pulled from Tempe Town Lake

The body of a man has been pulled out of Tempe Town Lake following a search on Monday morning. Officials say someone went into the water Sunday night, and was not seen since.

TEMPE, Ariz. - The body of an adult man was pulled from Tempe Town Lake on Monday morning.

What we know:

According to Tempe Police, a person was seen going into the water on Feb. 1. 

The body was found at 10:30 a.m. on Monday.

On Feb. 4, police identified the victim as 24-year-old James Carson.

What we don't know:

It remains unknown why Carson entered the lake.

What's next:

Police will investigate the incident.
