Phoenix Police: Thieves smash through dry wall to rob cell phone store

Police want to find two men accused of breaking into a cell phone store by smashing through the wall of a business next door.

Sgt. James Rothschild with Silent Witness says the crime happened at 29th Avenue and Dunlap on Tuesday, September 26th at about 2:45am. The suspects were caught on surveillance camera breaking into the business. Police say they broke into a vacant business next door, then smashed through the dry wall.

The suspects stole phone cases and damaged one of the doors inside the business. The two suspects are described as white or Hispanic men, 18 to 24 years old. Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. There is a reward involved and you can remain anonymous.
