SMATHERS BEACH, Fla. (FOX 13) - With red tide killing marine life up and down Florida's west coast, it's nice to see some of our wildlife is still doing just fine.
The folks at The Key West Sea Turtle Club captured a nest of sea turtles hatching and making their way to the water's edge Tuesday evening.
The hatchlings were in a nest on Smathers Beach.
It wasn't clear exactly how many tiny sea turtles hatched, but at least two dozen were visible in the video.
Nest watchers created a little walkway for the turtles to help them find their way to the water.
