Lawsuit over delay in Arizona death penalty cases dismissed

Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell's lawsuit over a delay in death penalty cases in Arizona has been dismissed. The legal complaint stems from the scheduled execution of Aaron Gunches, who was set to be put to death in April. The execution, however, was put on hold after Governor Katie Hobbs ordered an independent review of death penalty protocols.
