(Earlier report) 17-year-old boy critically injured in west Phoenix shooting

Police are investigating a shooting in west Phoenix that left a 17-year-old boy critically injured.

A teenager has died after being shot in west Phoenix on July 29, and another juvenile has been arrested in connection to the murder.

Phoenix Police say the shooting happened near 67th Avenue and Indian School Road.

The victim, identified as 17-year-old Hector Pena-Dominguez, was taken to the hospital in critical condition before dying from his injuries.

Police said a juvenile boy was arrested for the shooting. 

No further details have been released by police.
