Police investigating double shooting in Phoenix

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Phoenix police say a double shooting in the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant has left two people injured.

According to Phoenix police, the shooting happened just after 3 a.m. on Thursday morning near 43rd Avenue and Indian School Road.

Police say a group of four people in a black vehicle got into an argument with three men who were in the parking lot. The driver of the vehicle then displayed a gun to the three men, who also had a gun.

Shots were fired in the parking lot and the four people in the black vehicle sped away and were later found by police at a gas station near 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

Police say a man and woman who were shot have non-life threatening injuries.

Three people who were riding in the black vehicle have been detained and the other person remains on the loose.

The three men who were also involved in the shooting are cooperating with police.
