NASA’s SpaceX Crew-11 Post-Mission News Conference | FOX 10 Phoenix

NASA’s SpaceX Crew-11 astronauts will speak for the first time today after returning to Earth early because of a medical issue aboard the International Space Station. NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, Japanese astronaut Kimiya Yui, and Russian cosmonaut Oleg Platonov are expected to discuss the mission and answer questions from reporters as to why it was cut short. The crew splashed down off the coast of San Diego on January 15 and arrived in Houston shortly after for standard postflight evaluations. NASA says the return was precautionary, and the astronaut involved is now undergoing routine post-flight medical evaluations. Even with the shortened mission, Crew-11 spent more than five months in space, completing hundreds of experiments and traveling nearly 71 million miles in orbit.
