Deadly triple shooting under investigation in Phoenix
Phoenix police are investigating a triple shooting that left one person dead in the area of 27th Avenue and McDowell Road Sunday morning.
PHOENIX - A shooting in West Phoenix left one man dead and two others injured on Sunday morning, Phoenix police said.
What we know:
At around 5 a.m. on Nov. 9, officers responded to the shooting in a parking lot near McDowell Road and 26th Avenue.
One man was found dead. He was not identified.
Two other men were also found shot, with one having serious injuries. The second man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was interviewed by police.
"Once he was released from medical care, Homicide detectives interviewed him," Sgt. Lorraine Ferandez said. "The man was released pending additional investigation."
What we don't know:
The details leading up to the shooting are part of an active investigation.
