PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police say one person is dead following a rollover crash along the Interstate 17 frontage road in Phoenix.
Phoenix police say the crash happened when the driver of a vehicle traveling northbound on the frontage road near Glendale Avenue lost control of his vehicle and struck another vehicle before colliding with several parked cars and a block wall.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle that lost control were taken to the hospital. The passenger died at the hospital from his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle that was hit suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The northbound I-17 exit at Glendale reopened just after 9 a.m.
