Kianna Underwood, Nickelodeon child star, killed in hit-and-run: Reports

Former Nickelodeon child star Kianna Underwood has been identified by multiple media sources as the victim in a hit-and-run collision that left her dead after she was dragged down two Brooklyn blocks early Friday morning. She was 33 years old. 

TMZ and other media outlets confirmed the news from law enforcement.

What we know:

Officials told TMZ that the 33-year-old – who appeared on the 2005 series "All That" – suffered severe trauma to her head and torso after a gray vehicle, driven by an unknown suspect, was traveling west on Pitkin Avenue and struck her as she crossed the street.

TMZ was told that the NYPD received a 911 call around 6:49 a.m. on Friday, and when EMS arrived, Underwood was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sources also told TMZ that Underwood was left lying motionless in the roadway after being dragged under the car for nearly two blocks.

What we don't know:

No arrests have been made at this time.

Kianna Underwood's career

Underwood appeared on seven episodes of the popular sketch comedy series "All That" in 2005 with stars Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon and Kenan Thompson, according to Variety.

She also appeared in Nickelodeon’s "Little Bill." On the animated series, she voiced Fuchsia Glover, the cousin of the main character, appearing in 23 episodes between 1999 and 2004.

She later went on to tour with the musical "Hairspray."
