GILA BEND - Deputies with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office are investigating a single-vehicle accident that killed a person just west of Gila Bend.
The crash happened at about 8am on a frontage road along I-8 about two miles west of Gila Bend, according to Officer Chris Hegstrom with MCSO. Both the eastbound and westbound frontage roads are shut down while MCSO deputies investigate how the accident happened.
The driver was the only person inside the vehicle when the crash occurred.
