Suspect sought in deadly north Phoenix shooting
A shooting early Thursday morning near 32nd Street and Paradise Lane left a man dead, and police are looking for the suspect. FOX 10's Dominique Newland reports.
PHOENIX - A suspect has been arrested after a shooting in north Phoenix last month left a man dead.
Phoenix Police say the shooting happened just before 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 19 near 32nd Street and Paradise Lane.
When officers got to the scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound. The man was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Michael Miller was arrested after a shooting in north Phoenix near 32nd Street and Paradise Lane left 47-year-old Joseph Gaona dead.
Loved ones identified the victim as Joseph Gaona, 47,
"The suspect fled prior to police arrival; the investigation is ongoing," police said.
On Jan. 3, police said 35-year-old Michael Miller had been arrested in connection to the shooting. Miller is accused of murder.
"Miller is the lone suspect believed to be involved in the homicide," police said.
