PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Officials with Phoenix Fire said Sunday a 3-year-old boy has drowned.
According to a statement released by Captain Brian Axelrod Sunday afternoon, fire crews in Phoenix and Tolleson responded to a drowning call at 3:05 p.m., at the 8700 block of W. Magnolia Street.
When crews arrived, they found the 3-year-old on the side of the pool, and a Phoenix Police officer immediately began CPR.
The 3-year-old, according to Cpt. Axelrod, was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
