A bicyclist was taken to a hospital by a medical helicopter after they were involved in a crash near 121st Dr. and Pinnacle Peak Road on Friday morning.
MCSO Chris Hegstrom says the bicyclist ran into back of a landscaping vehicle that was pulled off to the side of the road.
Deputies aren't sure why the bicyclist collided with the vehicle.
The bicyclist was taken to a hospital with life threatening injuries.
