Casa Grande woman accused of killing child's father

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - A Casa Grande woman was arrested and charged with the murder of her child's father.

Police say 26-year-old Audra Jarrett was arrested on Sunday after police responded to her home and found 34-year-old Jesse Rodriguez with a gunshot to the chest.

Rodriguez died at the scene.

Detectives say the two got into a fight inside the home prior to the shooting.

The couples' 5-year-old child is now in the custody of a family member.

Jarrett has been charged with second-degree murder.
