The cause of death for Christy Knowings, one of the stars from "All That," has been revealed, according to multiple reports.

Knowings died after suffering cardiac arrest, according to TMZ.
She also had asthma, which was identified on her death certificate as an underlying condition, according to People magazine.
The certificate also noted asthmaticus and acute hypoxic respiratory failure as a contributing condition.
Christy Knowings dies at 46
The backstory:
Knowings died at a Los Angeles hospital on August 11.
At the time of the report, her death was said to be followed by complications from an asthma attack.
A family member told TMZ that Knowings was hospitalized after suffering the attack, which resulted in brain damage. She was subsequently placed on life support before her death.
Christy Knowings’ legacy
Knowings was best known for appearing on the popular Nickelodeon series "All That." She also appeared in three episodes of "Sesame Street" alongside her twin brother, actor Chris Knowings.

In addition to her television work, Knowings pursued music and released the folk single "To the World" in 2020.
Knowings is the second former "All That" cast member reported to have died this year. Kianna Underwood, another former cast member, was killed in a hit-and-run collision in Brooklyn in January.
