Driver crashes into salon in Chandler

The Brief

    • A driver was not injured after crashing into a salon in Chandler around noon on Aug. 9.
    • Police say the driver mistakenly thought they had their car in reverse.

CHANDLER, Ariz. - A car drove into a Chandler salon on Saturday just after noon, police said.

The Aug. 9 crash happened near Queen Creek and Alma School road.

No injuries were reported, and according to police, the driver told officers they mistakenly thought the car was in reverse.

There were no signs of impairment.
