2 hurt in Glendale shooting: PD
According to police, the shooting happened near 59th Avenue and Olive, and two people were taken to the hospital.
GLENDALE, Ariz. - An investigation is underway following a shooting late on March 5 that sent two people to the hospital.
What we know:
Per a Glendale Police statement, officers were sent to the area of 59th Avenue and Olive at around 10:30 p.m. for reports of shots fired.
In a later statement, officials said the two people, whom they identified as a 19-year-old and an 18-year-old, were shot after an argument.
"Several witnesses on the scene initially fled due to the shooting but later returned and provided some key elements and details to investigators providing some clarity to the situation," read a portion of Glendale Police's later statement.
According to police, the 19-year-old and the 18-year-old were taken to the hospital. Both suffered serious injuries, but they are expected to live.
