PHOENIX - Phoenix police say a 69-year-old man has died after being hit by a car near 42nd Avenue and McDowell Road on April 28.
The car was trying to turn onto McDowell Road from a driveway and hit Jose Israel Franco Lopez, officials say.
Lopez was taken to a hospital and was later pronounced dead.
Police say impairment does not seem to be a factor.
