Police: 4 shot, 1 dead in east Phoenix shooting

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police say one man is dead after four people were shot at the Airport Inn motel in Phoenix on Sunday night.

According to Phoenix police, witnesses reported hearing an argument before shots were fired at the motel just before 8 p.m.

Officers found four people suffering from gunshot wounds and all four were taken to local hospitals.

One victim, identified as 37-year-old Jessuh Williams, died at the hospital. Police say the three other victims have non-life threatening injuries.

A fifth victim contact police at the hospital, as she had left the motel before officers arrived.

The suspect, identified by police as a Black male, remains on the loose.
