Wobbly truck leads half-hour LA police chase

A wobbly pickup truck led police on a half-hour police chase near Los Angeles' Koreatown and Westlake roads.

A police chase suspect is in custody – but not before leading one of the slower pursuits in recent memory across Los Angeles' Wilshire Boulevard.

SkyFOX was over the scene Saturday, July 19 as the suspect, believed to be inside a stolen work pickup truck, led the California Highway Patrol on a chase.

The suspect struggled to break 10 mph for most of the police chase, as he got close to Koreatown and Westlake roads.

The suspect eventually gave up nearly 40 minutes after SkyFOX got to the police chase. FOX 11 was told the suspect was in pursuit for nearly two hours.
