Over the weekend, bodycam and surveillance footage inside a Long Island bank captured the moment a deer crashed through a bank window and proceeded to trash the interior while attempting to escape.

Fortunately, officers with the Suffolk County Police Department responded quickly after receiving a burglary alarm call from the bank.

When they arrived, they were able to calm the frightened deer and lasso it before guiding it outside to freedom.

The department thanked Seventh Precinct Officers Connor Kehoe, Jason Famoso, Shane Matedero, Michael Pitts, and Salvatore Zafonte "for helping get this deer headed in the right direction."
