Morning Weather Forecast - 5/6/26

Wednesday will be a nice day in the Valley with highs in the mid-80s.

Another wonderful weather day ahead!

Today:

The storm system that triggered showers in the Valley and around the state on Tuesday is still slowly passing over Arizona to the south. As it passes today, the temperature will remain moderate in the mid 80s for Phoenix and only in the mid 60s to mid 70s in the High Country. No showers are expected today, except for far into northeastern Arizona around the Four Corners region. It will be a mostly sunny day for much of the state, too.

Tomorrow:

As the storm system finally exits to the east on Thursday, the forecast high begins to climb. The high will reach 95 degrees on Thursday. It will remain dry, mostly sunny, and may return to low-end breezy conditions as well.

Friday and the Weekend:

By the weekend, we return to triple digits for the first time since March. The forecast high hits 100 on Friday, 104 on Saturday and 105 on Sunday. Mother's Day will start around 80 degrees by 8 a.m., but climb to the triple digits for any afternoon plans.

Looking Further Ahead:

Next week looks just as warm and dry. The forecast high remains above 100 through the next work week.
