Man found with gunshot wounds falling out of a vehicle; 1 person detained

Police are investigating a deadly shooting at a Chevron gas station near 35th Ave. and Camelback Rd.

A teenage boy died at the scene of a Phoenix shooting Monday night at a gas station, the police department said on Feb. 6.

The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. near 35th Avenue and Camelback Road at a Chevron gas station, police said. An unidentified teenager was found dead at the scene.

On Feb. 7, police say a fight between the victim, a man and a teen girl led up to the shooting. The man was detained and then released, and the girl was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
