A London man has been jailed for three years after brandishing a replica gun and assaulting a worker during a heated dispute over the wrong sauce order on Christmas Eve.

Dig deeper:

The Metropolitan Police said Marwan Khadir carried out a more than two-minute attack using a realistic imitation firearm, during which he threatened to shoot the victim and repeatedly assaulted him after complaining about his order.

Security footage shows Khadir checking his order, then returning after realizing he had been given the wrong sauce. He is heard questioning a shop employee about receiving four burger sauces instead of three garlic and three mayo.

The exchange escalates as Khadir tries to climb over the counter before being pushed back, at which point he pulls out the replica gun. The employee can be heard repeatedly apologizing throughout the confrontation.
