Man fighting for life after Glendale strip mall shooting
GLENDALE - Glendale Police are investigating a shooting at a valley strip mall, and a man is fighting for his life at the hospital.
Witnesses say gunfire broke out in front of the strip mall near Bethany Home and 67th Avenue. Police say the shooting broke out early Saturday morning at about 12:15am. As many as twenty evidence markers were scattered around the parking lot as police investigated.
Detectives are trying to determine who opened fire. Bethany Home has been shut down between 65th and 67th Avenues. It's not clear if a shooting suspect is in custody.
