Man found dead in Tempe QuikTrip parking lot
TEMPE, Ariz. - A man collapsed and died in the parking lot of a QuikTrip in Tempe, police said on Friday.
The incident happened on Jan. 24 near the Loop 101 and University Drive.
What we know:
Tempe Police say surveillance cameras at the QT showed a man driving in the parking lot, before getting out of the car and collapsing.
The man was found dead minutes later by a customer, who alerted QT employees.
What we don't know:
The man was not identified.
What they're saying:
The man's cause of death is unknown, but police say the possibility of a self-inflicted injury is being investigated.
