Metallica donates $500K to Australia bushfire relief efforts

Metallica donated more than $500,000 to relief efforts as the Australian bushfires continue to ravage the country.

Metallica has announced that the band will perform and debut its "Life Burns Faster" residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas this October.

According to the band’s website, the eight-show run will take place on October 1, 3, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 and 31.

Metallica said the "Life Burns Faster" set lists will span the entire catalog, enhanced by the venue’s technologies that will allow fans to experience the "Tallica sound in new experiential dimensions."

"This residency gives us another chance to reinvent how we interact with you guys in a live setting, and we can’t wait to see you there!," the band wrote.

Metallica said each set of shows will be "No Repeat Weekends," meaning if a fan attends both the Thursday and Saturday shows, they will not hear the same song twice.

How to buy Metallica Las Vegas Sphere tickets

Two-night "No Repeat Weekend" tickets and single-night tickets will go on sale March 6 at 10 a.m. PT, along with presale tickets over the next week. 

Fans can check out all the details for the Fan Club Presale beginning Monday, March 2 or sign up for the Ticketmaster Artist Presale beginning Tuesday, March 3.
