Tempe PD: One person dead following crash near Southern and College

TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - One person died following a crash near Southern and College in Tempe Saturday.

Police say a two-vehicle accident happened at the intersection of Southern and College. One of the occupants was pronounced dead.

Investigators do not believe impairment is a factor at this time.

The intersection is closed with restrictions to northbound College Avenue as well.
